Thanks Kara,
The link was very helpful, I just ordered a moby but am also considering ordering a sling too and seeing what works best. I'm sure some work bettert for certain situations plus it would be good to have more than one cause I'm sure they get dirty like crazy. I appreciate the feedback!

I used a Kangaroo Korner (MN company!) fleece pouch sling with both boys and loved it. You're right that it's especially helpful to have free hands with baby #2. Another (MN!) blogger that I follow just did a big babywearing post which might be helpful for your decision making: http://omyfamilyblog.com/2011/08/o-my-babywearing

Kelsey,
I've heard a lot about the moby wrap and am considering purchasing one of those as well. Here's a dumb question for mothers who sling their babies; do you own multiple wraps in the case of getting one dirty or soiled? Also I would like to nurse while my babe is slinged/slung are their some brands better for this than others?

I have a toddler and a four-month old, and I have found my Moby wrap to be *especially* indispensable this time around (although I used it lots with my first baby too). I strongly prefer the Moby to other slings and carriers because you can bend over in it without spilling your baby out (because you can choose to put the infant's head under the wrap). And as you know, bending is a big need with toddlers around. ;) We have an Ergo carrier as well, but it really works best with bigger, older babies than my four-month-old. We started using the Moby in week one.
