Normally I put all the rollers downstairs where there is no food, but I like to keep my brushes upstairs in my everyday fridge for easy access.

One froze entirely and never recovered (damn you ECO paint! Not enough oil content, I think), and the other one – an oil-based primer – actually gave a paint flavour to everything in my fridge (according to my flavour-sensitive husband). So I’m a little wary now. I might give the eco paint another go in the fridge though, maybe that was my problem.

Thanks Jessica! I would highly recommend a black wall for your next place, you’ll love it.

Paneling is gross, not to mention it takes twice as long to paint as a normal wall because of all those grooves.

And we never clean out rollers. Maybe it’s wasteful, but we just buy new ones. I justify this by remembering how much water it takes to get those suckers clean.

And I’m loving the black wall! I had no idea it was paneling till you pointed it out. I had to go back to the pics above to see for myself. Jordan’s man room paneling was also painted black and was vastly improved.
