Good advice on the farmers market. I might have to run over to the Kingfield market this Sunday and see what they've got going on. Are you gonna blog your garden?? I wanna see it!

How exciting about your radishes! I know the great feeling of surprising garden successes, and I can only imagine that multiplies when you share it with a kiddo. You are worlds ahead of me in the yard. I was on vacation and so we only got our garden planted this week. It is a bummer when you've made the commitment to starting your own seedlings and some don't work out. I bought some great heirloom plants at the St. Paul Farmer's Market this week for about $2 a pop. I'm sure they won't be all gone from markets around town for a week or 2. I wouldn't hesitate to replace anything that is beyond hope. There is a long growing season ahead...

Hey Caitlin. I gotta try sprouts sometime, maybe next year's garden, they sound pretty great. I have no clue when to pick things! I'm totally learning too. It's a good thing I have my <a href="http://www.amazon.com/All-New-Square-Foot-Gardening/dp/1591862027 rel="nofollow">S.F.G</a>. book because it tells me when to harvest. I only picked the radishes with the big leafs, I could see their little red roots poking out :)

Looking great- and delicious!!! Radish sprouts are nice and spicy- have you tried growing sprouts before? Always wondered: how do you know when things growing underground are ready to pick (radishes, carrots, etc.) ???
