I will try and stay positive, although I feel so tired of trying to do that. There is only so many times you can tell yourself, “Just one more snowstorm”, or “just 5 more cold days.” The disappointment is too much to bare.

My dogwoods have already taken a beating, both are sporting multiple broken branches. The good thing is dogwood trees grow like weeds so it shouldn’t be bad for too long. I can’t WAIT for the weekend. Hang in there, I’ll try and do the same!

I hope this is the end of it. This is our 3rd or 4th April snowstorm. Last Thursday it snowed 10″ and then 6″ last night. This is so insane for Minnesota. We should’ve been well into spring a month ago.

The good news is 70º temps this weekend, and it looks like it stays warm from then on. Only a few more days…

I live in Alberta, and we are experiencing our first week of spring – FINALLY – although I don’t have faith it will last. It’s still freezing every night, so no buds are blooming. Last year I lilac’s came out and looked so pretty and then boom, a huge heavy snowfall and all of the branches fell off….so I guess the good news is that things hadn’t had a chance to really start flourishing yet! Hope it goes away quick for you.
