It is doing really well-her sons have broken the top off it, shovelling snow off the roof and it is still going strong. While I don’t love the garden I think it awesome that she loves it. Beautiful part of gardening is there is really something for everyone

My neighbour has a bloodgood maple in her backyard (actually in her japanese garden, anything in the garden must be japanese or have Japanese in the name). It is ridiculously cold here and hers has survived quite well.
