I hear it does feel like that. I’ve watched people jump every year for the last 9, people don’t even scream after they get in – they are just silent, their breath vanishes from their body. It seems miserable, but they seem to like the adrenaline rush. You should try it, I think about it every year, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. I’m a baby like that though. Think about it.

But oh dear god doesn’t it feel like you got hit by a truck (a truck made of ice)??? Are wetsuits frowned upon? I honestly am not sure I could force myself to jump in.
