Color me impressed!! These are all gorgeous! And I’m glad you wrote about wanting to cut down those spindly purple flowers on your hostas….we have those same hostas lining our front walk, and I’ve never liked the flower. But have never cut them down either (until they die off in fall). You have emboldened me!! LOL.

You have such a green thumb — it’s like a Josef Frank print in your yard! I live in Georgia and our summers are so hot it basically kills the garden. It’s nice to be able to see your yard and know that somewhere there are happy summer flowers… :)

Thank you for the comment on flowering hosta. I have some that are overshadowing pretty red day-lilies, and I wasn’t sure if I could trim the hosta flowers without harming future growth. Now I know it’s ok and I’m going to do it today!

So…I followed a link somewhere that brought me to your post where you had just installed your wood fence. And I decided I liked your blog so I started reading the posts from day one! Whew, there is a lot to enjoy and absorb–what a journey! The difference in your garden from when you moved in and today’s post is just amazing. You have so many of my favorite plants.
