I know! I can’t get enough of the Buffalo check, it works so well with the cabin too. A nice alternative to bear and moose decor.

Thanks, Ellen! Yeah, that wallpaper is no good! I just did a quick google and it looks like people use VCT in their garages even, so I’m guessing it’s pretty durable. We have LVT wood-like flooring in our basement and I really like it. If you want the look of wood, I would say go with the LVT. The VCT is simple and you can make patterns with it, I don’t know if you’ve seen our cabin kitchen but I made a buffalo check pattern with VCT, which is fun and casual and could be perfect for a porch.

I like that you kept the lights next to the mirror.
This makes me want to try VCT on my enclosed back porch instead of LVT that I had in mind. Do you know if you can use it in rooms that get extremely cold in the (Chicago) winter?
