This update does a great job showing how much invisible problem-solving sits behind a historic renovation. Matching the new Marvin wood windows to the living and dining rooms, sizing vintage radiators correctly for only 135 square feet, and restoring that marketplace sink all support the old-house character instead of treating the addition as a separate box. The 3D rendering beside the raw framing is especially helpful for understanding the intended flow. I also liked the practical drill-brush tip for the enamel sink. After living through a full heating season, did the two small salvaged radiators deliver the output you calculated for the mudroom and bath?

Widening the dining-room opening by borrowing the proportions of the home’s existing openings is a thoughtful way to improve flow without turning a 1910 house into a generic open plan. Matching the wood windows, salvaged radiators, and replicated millwork should make the addition feel genuinely connected to the original rooms. That documented before-and-after would also be a strong reference for a Seed 3D 2 reconstruction.
