Hey Ellen! I was hoping to find old doors salvaged but it was impossible to find 3 that matched. Our builder did all the ordering of the doors, so I’m not sure exactly where he found them. I just did a quick google search though, and it looks like there are a number of companies that make them. Your old doors have made it this long, I think they’ll continue to hang in there ;)

Thanks, Sally! The counter tops are carrara marble. We decided on marble because it fit the period of the house, and I’m looking forward to showing how its aged with us over time.

Hey Lauren! Yes, more garden photos will be on the way this summer. I’m kind of excited to put everything back together again. I ordered a bunch of seeds and am hoping to sprinkle in some annual cut flowers throughout the beds. The cats loved looking out the door for the one week that they could before winter hit. I think they’ll be doing a lot of screen door looking this summer. Thanks for your comment :)

Thanks for asking about the screen door because now I can link it here, and I’ll know where to look when I get around to replacing our aluminum side screen door ;) It’s called the Combination Door Company. They have a handful of historic looks, we went with the ‘Ultra View’ Style. They come with an insert so you can change from screen to glass depending on the season. Here’s the LINK
