Hello! My house is very similar to yours and we are scheduling to have it painted this summer. We’re thinking of a lighter blue Ashland Slate, Slate Blue or Van Courtland from Benjamin Moore. Our trim is cream colored, white windows. I’m trying to find a way to add more definition to the windows and see how I could add another color of detail!

Home transformations Inc is one of our tops right now. He hasn’t come back with the estimate yet but if it’s inline with some of the others we’ve received we’ll probably go with him.

Fantastic! Love the corner board idea…if we hadn’t just sold our house I would add them to our asbestos siding too! Your house will look amazing once it’s all done. Let us know which exact shade of dark blue you go with please!

We painted our last house a few years ago, and I totally understand how agonizing it can be to pick a paint color/housepainter. It’s expensive and you want to get it right! (We used Home Transformations, I think, and liked them.) I love the dark blue you picked!! The mock-up looks awesome.

It’s great to hear that you all think I’m headed in the right direction. I think we’re going to have to take a step out of our comfort zone for the paint color, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. I do love, love, love a gray house but it’s time for us to get a little crazy.
