The color is called ‘Pearl White’ – Pratt & Lambert, we bought it at Ace and had it made in Mythic brand paint.

Hi Amy! Thanks! I’m glad it seems spacious – In reality it is a pretty tiny room (12’x12′), but it’s also the sunniest room which helps to make it seem spacious. The light fixture is from Ikea, they are discontinued, but were replaced with a similar fixture found here. If you’re interested in searching for it on ebay or craiglist, it was called the “Fado Lamp”. Good luck!

Can you tell me about the light fixture you have on the ceiling? Am finally looking to replace several overhead fixtures in our house and was eyeing a globe style. Do you remember where you got purchased it? Is it hanging like a pendent or flush to the ceiling? Can’t tell from pic. Thanks.

Hey Leslie, Yes the nightstand is from Ikea. I think that they offer it grey quite often, if you’re interested I would look for it next time you go shopping in there. Caroline said she has it in white too, which I think would be awesome.

Caroline! Do it! I bet the white cabinet will look great next to your next guest bed. I love shopping from my house – mostly I love rearranging everything, it’s something I do every few months.

Allie – I hear you. It’s hard to know what to keep and what to throw. In fact I had been “borrowing” a vintage yellow gardening book from my mom forever. I had it as decor in the old aqua and yellow kitchen. I recently gave it back to her after having it for years because I was trying to clean out the old kitchen. Guess what? I totally could’ve used it for this new room. So yeah, long story short, it’s hard to know what’s worth keeping.
