Hey Sarge! I love the idea of a navy headboard – the brass nail heads are really great. The only thing I worry about with the navy is being too matchy with navy sofa in the sunroom, I feel like the furniture would need to be different yet complimentary upholstery. I am open to just a headboard, but part of me just really wants a grown up bed, I’ve never really had one.

It is a custom option that I myself have and LOVE. Some other advantages to just getting a headboard- cheaper of course, and, deals with the tall husband issue since there isn’t a footboard.

I know, Jessica! Isn’t that copper so good! I love the blue and light coral too. I already have a $5 sample, he hasn’t said anything since I hung it up on the wall. It’s very possible he hasn’t seen it, or he has and he hates it.

Hey Staci! I totally love that bed too. You should go for it, I think it’s super cute. My husband is a huge giant, his feet go a good 6″ off the end of the bed, so I need to find something with a low profile footboard. I’m excited to see what you do in your bedroom!
