I can’t get over the weather difference between us Scoops. We are in Michigan and are back to mowing our very green lawn already. By the looks of things, you must be three weeks behind us in Wisconsin.

Maybe I am too optimistic about how this whole cushion wrangling is going to go down. I did buy pillows last year that were meant for indoor use and after treating them with the scotchgard they held up really well all summer. I don’t think I’d recommend it on anything too valuable like your Marimekko cushion, but what’s the harm in trying it on the cheapy stuff.

I’m really hoping that the sunbrella cushions will hold up, I read such great things about them.

I wish I could get down with leaving the cushions out in the sun and rain here in northern NJ. Granted, my husband and I have our routine down with covering the pool and gathering the cushions when we’re done having fun in the sun, but I’d like to be a little less uptight about it. I bought the Marimekko cushion for the chaise last year and maybe I’ll try some Scotchgard on it. I left it out during one torrential storm last summer and it was damp for days.

I’m so jealous of your hammock setup! It looks so dreamy and comfortable.
