Yes! You are so right Jennifer! So, I’ve been debating whether or not to paint the wood. I haven’t pulled the trigger only because the wood has never been painted, and once I’m in, I’m in. I mocked up a version of the cabin with the green painted “peninsula” in two photos (below). What do you think? I think I’m for it, I’m just being a big baby about actually painting the wood.

Hey Miruska! I love this sectional! I wish we had the same one in the basement at our house. It’s so comfy, and deep. You just drop back into it, and sink into pillow land. I was very unsure about the white pillow covers, but they have been great. Yes, they get dirty, but they can also get clean in the washing machine and come out looking as good as the day they were first put on. I don’t wash the entire thing at once, just if a stain shows up on a specific cushion, which happens a lot when kids are involved. The only down side is that sometimes when you sit (or plop) down you can hear the springs, which isn’ t the end of the world, it’s just a thing that it does.
