Hi Alison! This is a setup that we’ve been considering for awhile, so I loved seeing how you made it work. Do you find that the sound quality, being wireless, is compromised? I’d always heard that one of the reasons turntables have better sound is that they’re entirely analog. I’m not a huge audiophile, but it’s still a concern.

This is really cool! Do you know if it would work with other wired systems? We have a full component system w/CD player, tape player, etc (however no turntable tho) and 2 huge wired speakers that we would love to replace with tiny wireless speakers.

In reply to Amanda. Yes! With the Connect 1 you can send the analog signal into any Sonos speaker, including a sound bar. You should get that going :)

In reply to Wendy. Wendy! This is great to hear that you've enjoyed this set up for years! Does the signal every cut out momentarily while you are listening? That happens to us from time-to-time and I'm trying to troubleshoot the system so I can figure out whats causing it. It only happens during play in the "line-in" mode, streaming other music doesn't seem to be a problem.

Such an awesome use of space! I’ve been wondering about how to hook a turntable into a soundbar. A Sonos soundbar may be a good option.

We’ve had our turntable hooked up the same way for the past few years. The Sonos is such a great system and makes it super easy for my young boys to listen to records! Which is my dream come true.

Genius and gorgeous. The digital analog option is definitely what I’d do if I got another turntable. My old one was the size of a boat in a built in cabinet and I got sick of the big piece of furniture. Now I’m left with a stack of records and nothing to play them on. Oops.
