Hey Sarah! For sure, I have been using the SU Podium extension. I only have the free version but have been considering going in on the real deal. Let me know if you have any cool SketchUp tips for me. I love using it - it has made all of my designing so much easier.

Haha. Kids are jerks.
Yes the amount of junk the acquire is insane. I am really having a heavy conscious regarding the impact we are putting on the environment. I wish more people really considered an item before they purchased it, especially toys. We politely let our family & friends know that we would prefer that the kids not get presents at our birthdays, or if they do, make presents experiences and not toys. I gave my younger niece some of the kids' well loved, appreciated and cared for gently used toys as presents for her birthday. I just can't with plastic toys anymore.

I almost popped on the Jenny Lind beds, they are a classic. I'm hoping these dudes continue to enjoy sharing a room, they really get along well, and so far seem to like it. I am surprised that it has lasted as long as it has though.

Hi, I'm very curious about your sketchup rendering. Which rendering plugin do you use? And, would you recommend it??? I need something to improve the "polished-ness" of my design presentations. Thanks in advance. PS: I love the design direction of your boys' room!

Oh the crap they accumulate is incredible! Why do people feel the need to give out goodie bags at every single kid party (of which there is one every weekend of the year it seems)? Not a single parent likes to see those goodie bags appear in the house after the kids return from a party. And they just eat whatever candy we allow them to within the bag and may play with one of the toys for the week following the party but after that, that damn bag just sits there next to the sofa, by the fire place for a month without them looking at it and the day you decide to just toss it.........suddenly they're upset because they wanted to play with the stuff inside!!!!! Anyway....I clearly have a beef with this! Our boys share a room still (they are 5 and 7) and we have a bunk bed that has an actual staircase on the side. They still seem to enjoy it for now (we bought it 2 years ago to replace their little Lightning Mcqueen kiddy beds so we still have lots of life in it). But the oldest has been hoping to get his own bedroom at some point. He says he's got dibs on his bedroom of choice in the "next house". Yeah kid, we're going to put our house for sale, get a new, bigger, more expensive one so your 7 year old ass can choose the master bedroom as your own :D Better start earning your keep kiddo ;p

Love it! My boys shared a room for a long time. Finding matching twin beds was a bitch. I was lucky a family member was getting rid of vintage "Jenny Lind-ish" spindle beds. I loved that shared room. Yours looks fantastic.
