So we are in the home stretch, I think. That ground hog evidently saw his shadow and is giving us 6 more weeks of winter. Although, here in MN, it will most likely be 100 more weeks of winter. In either case, at least we have something to look forward to. SPRING!!!!!!!!!

In celebration of this tiny light that is Spring at the end of this GIANT tunnel which is Winter, I am sharing some photos of the potting party Scoops and I had last May.


Here we are, the HENHOUSE team with all of our potting gear. I can already feel that warm Spring sun!

Pretty Potted Plantings.

Scoops, tending to her newly potted impatiens. Perfect for any front stoop!

Gerbera Daisies. I love these because they are so hearty. I get a lot of sun in my back yard and these stand up real well. Even when I skip a watering every now and again.

This upcoming Spring will entail putting together a couple of special pots for some Friends. Scoops will be moving into a new house, as will our Friends James and Jules. They will surely need a pot of flowers for their new front stoops or back yard patios and porches. I’ll keep you posted as to what I put together. In the mean time, THINK SPRING! I am convinced that it makes the snow melt faster.
