Guys, it’s been awhile since I did an “Etsy Finds” post. Even though I haven’t posted about it in awhile, I still love perusing Etsy. I’ll admit, it’s gotten a little bloated with so-so stuff lately, but you can still find a lot of people making really cool things out there.

Recently we found ourselves upgrading to some new iPhone 5s. Part of the reason we needed to get new phones is that one of us (not naming names here) is prone to busting phone screens and not using cases. Others of us were just ready for a new phone. So there you have it.

We need cases, especially with the kids. These phones get dropped all the time, and even though most of the time they don’t show a scratch, there are occasions when screens get scratched or yes, even cracked. Cases are a must! Lucky for us (and you) there are a bunch of people making really cool iPhone cases on Etsy!! Yeah! If I have to have a case on my new pretty phone, I don’t want it to be ugly or clunky, you with me here? I want it to have triangles on it, duh. Here are a few of my favs but there’s tons of options out there to explore. I even spotted a few cool Bruce Springsteen cases for the true heads :)

I needed this post, thank you! I just got an iPhone 5 and have been looking for a case…never thought to check Etsy. Any tips on what type are more protective? The only thing I know I want is one that covers all corners and goes a little over the front edges.

I honestly have no idea what is better as far as a case goes. I have been case free for a few years now, Jeff’s multiple cracked screens have led me to take precautions this time around. I would think that what you described is exactly what you should look for. Something that can cover all the corners is a must. I think dropping the phone and hitting the corners is what cause Jeff’s phone to crack both times.

I ordered one of the above, I’ll let you know what I think after it shows up in the mail.
