End of Summer Kids

Don't mind this messy face No-Shirt-Kids make me happy. We've had a great summer and I'm already feeling like it's over. We had a cool bit of weather last week and it kicked me straight into fall mode. I am really looking forward to being cozy this fall but I don't want the summer to be over just yet. Happy 1st Birthday Gus!

We celebrated August's 1st birthday this weekend with cake and ice cream in the backyard. The poor dude had just come down with a cold that morning and was sick for his own bday celebraish. Holy moly! I don't know about you but it's hot here with highs pushing 100º all week. We've got the pool set up and sprinklers are ready. Obviously when it's this hot I need (and you do too) a delicious cocktail to cool down. Gus the Goose

I rarely call my kids by their actual names. I have a thing for nicknames if you haven't picked up on that. Finn has been "Finn Bear" aka "Bear" (like Bear Grylls... not) since the day he was born. Kid Speed

I've been enjoying life at kid speed these days. Now that the winter is officially behind us there has been so much time to enjoy the outside!!
