Deuce Cities Henhouse

Guys! I'm back with the final installment of the girl-party-make-a-light-fixture post! My pal Nicole (aka Colz) needed a new light fixture for over her new black sink -- yep that one pictured above -- which makes its home in her incredibly awesome new kitchen! We made this brass beauty for her, and it looks amazing - I liked it so much I made one for my bathroom too. Also, don't worry! I wasn't ready to commit to a fixture, and for $29, the Foto pendant was worth the money to take the ol' light-fixture-test-spin. The Foto pendant is 20" wide and we have it hanging READ MORE

Simple Landscape Lighting

Guyses! Earlier this spring I made the biggest easiest improvement to increase our nighttime backyard chill vibes, and it was so incredibly simple. I'm unlocking the mysteries of landscape lighting for ya. I command (yep, command) you all to follow my lead and do the same with your outdoor spaces! So, I always thought you had to have tons of money and an electrician to enjoy a nicely lighted landscape. I mean that would make sense to me, for lots of reasons. Number one, we're talking about READ MORE
