Thinking Spring : Planters

I’m gonna try and get you guys amped up for spring by forcing you to look at these planters, K? Aren’t there so many good ones to choose from these days? My favorite is that blue one on the bottom row.

I don’t know ’bout you guys but every year for those three or four weeks between the last days of winter, and the trees leafing in the spring, my need to tend and care for something lush and green is kinda insane. The only “cure” that slightly alleviates my spring-time-antsy-pants is a trip to the garden center which usually/kinda/always/sorta results in the purchase of an indoor plant or two, and of course, a new pot.

Hope you guys all have a chill and relaxing weekend!

It isn’t very difficult to get hyped for spring when you live in the Midwest. It’s been a long time coming (and going and coming and going…)! This post is pretty timely for me. I’ve been looking for more coffins for my indoor victims. And you’re right on with that blue one!

I hear you on the coming and going! I don’t think my heart would be so dead set on spring right now if it hadn’t been 60º in February. Don’t tease me!

Lolz, coffins – I like it!

Oh my god… the way that some of them kind of wiggle? This is too much.
On top of that, some friends are getting married next month and I desperately wanted to find them some cool planters but wasn’t sure where to look. This comes at a perfect time for me.

Well ya know I couldn’t just offer you some boring round-up of planters, something had to shake a little bit ;) There are some good planters out there r n, I hope this makes your present hunting easier! PS I think a planter or a planter with plant would make a really sweet wedding gift.

I’m with you. The weather this week plus a lingering head cold is ruining me. I need some sunshine so I can attack our gardens!

    • Scoops March 24, 2017

No, not a cold on top of it all. I’m just focusing on tuesday and hoping the forecast for 50s and sun holds.

This is the second time I’ve tried to click on links for one your recommendations (the other was the outdoor furniture post) and I get nothing but blank pages. I’ll check on my end to see if the issue is with my computer but is anyone else having issues?

    • Scoops March 24, 2017

Hi Mary, What browser are you using? My guess is that you probably have an ad blocker enabled on your browser that is preventing the links from loading. I use affiliated links to help support the blog – they pay just enough to cover the costs of hosting the site – so no one is getting rich off of it. Anyways, check your preferences and see if that helps. Sorry that this is causing you trouble.

I use Chrome. I thought it might be the ad-blockers but disabling them does not change the outcome – still just a blank page.
Also, I have no issue with affiliate links – I just want to see the item I clicked on to get details and see how much they cost.

Huh, that’s so weird. After I read your comment I did a bunch of testing and I couldn’t replicate the problem, which makes me think it could be a setting on your browser. I’m stumped. If anyone else is experiencing this issue, would you’d you let a girl know?
I didn’t think you would have a problem with affiliate links, I just always feels like it needs an explanation :)

In my links I typicall add a direction for the browser to open a new blank window before loading the url. I wonder if that’s causing the hiccup? Would you mind testing this link to see if it works? Thanks in advance!

YESSSSSSS. I so needed this. I’m getting stir crazy to re-pot all my indoor plants.

    • Scoops March 24, 2017

I am bad at repotting, I just add on to the stuff I already have. I totally support you doing it though!

  • Cam March 24, 2017

    Ill take one of each!

Love these planters! I had just decided to repot some of the plants at my office – these planters are gorgeous (especially the white ones). Spring fever is definitely here; I’m dying to be able to do my outdoorsy crafts again. Like ones involving spray paint. Gorgeous weather today….

Thank you kindly for all the darling pot choices! And making links so we could check out price and details! I LOVE the blue one too, and it also comes in MINT!
    I really enjoy your blog.

See, this is the problem with small apartments: there’s only so many plants you can fit!
