The Finished Curtains
I am so proud of these curtains! I love them, and I was able to sew them with minimal swears and mistakes. I think I am getting better at this sewing thing. They hang perfectly, are the perfect length, the patterns match up and they are lined.

Hanging on Grommets
Here’s a close up – check out the grommets. Adding the grommets was the last stage of making the curtains and it was a bit scary cause I had to do some math (eesh), AND I had to cut holes in my oh so perfect masterpieces. It all worked out in the end though, not a single screw up or math error.

Curtain Lining
Just showing off how blackoutable these curtains really are. The baby’s room can go from sunniest room in the house to total darkness in seconds! I wish I had this luxury when Finn was a babe, I bet I could’ve gotten a few more naps in.

Bear and Whale Prints from Etsy
I think my mail lady is starting to get annoyed with me because packages from Etsy are showing up every day now. I love these whale and bear screen prints with the yellow background. I think they will hang over the baby’s crib.

Custom Bus Roll Print from Etsy
This too is from Etsy, a vintage looking bus roll featuring all the essential bed time duties. I was able to custom order this one and added a few lines of my own, such as “GET BUGGED” which is Finn’s way of saying “Snug as a bug in a rug.” Hopefully he will pass a few of his weird phrases on to his brother.

Grey Pouf in Use
And here is Finn hanging out in the nursery, we do this sometimes as all of our little seedlings are growing in the window as you can see in the first photo above. He always finds a project to do on the pouf, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It will make a good foot rest, AND it will encourage my number 1 dude to come visit me and the baby when he’s not too busy.

It looks AMAZING!! I love the curtains, you did such a good job. And the prints you picked out for the walls are super cute. I am excited for you!

Love these photos…amazing color choices! I found your site by way of Flickr and Ikea/kids room photos. I'm redoing my oldest boys' room and was considering gray (Chinchilla by Martha Stewart actually). I'm curious – what gray did you end up going with on the walls?

Hi, I’ve stumbled across your blog (which is great!) whilst trying to find some curtain fabric. The yellow chevron material looks to be perfect, please could you tell me where you sourced it from? Many thanks!
