We are so excited to bring to you the week of the Holiday Cards! Every day this week we will be showcasing a new card from our first ever holiday collection. All of the cards will be available on Etsy. Today’s featured card is this whimsical icy blue snowflake. The note features “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year.” The inside is left blank and is just waiting your personalized holiday greeting. The 5×7 size makes it easy to include a 4×6 or 5×7 photo with your holiday greeting.
The cards will be sold in sets of 5 and packaged with kraft paper and this cheery red and white baker’s twine.
We look forward to sharing our other holiday cards with you this week. If you think what we’re making is cool please pass it on to a friend or family member. We appreciate all of the support.
You can find all of our designs here at our Etsy store.
Finn & Elsa go Trick or Treating. It’s official, these guys love halloween now, and will be expecting candy from the neighbors for the rest of their lives.
Here’s Finn’s costume. He loves IKEA and was thrilled to be IKEA MAN this year.
Elsa hits the town as a sticky ballerina.
Alright, this post is exactly a month overdue. I made my most successful layer cake to date for Jeff’s birthday in September. I still have a ways to go but I was pretty happy with the results. Thanks to a few helpful cake icing tips from the ladies over at prudent baby, I’ll soon be the pro that I always wanted to be.
As the guys on the Jersey Shore would say, “Oh Yeah, Icing Cakes Yeah!”
Yes We’re so excited! Nicole (Colz) and I finished our first STD’s (Save the Date’s) last night at 1am after a five hour marathon of printing. Oh god my shoulders hurt, but it’s all worth it because making stuff is so fun and awesome! We hand gocco’d (screenprinted) 150 save the dates and envelopes featuring a marina full of sailboats. We are so proud of our little guys, that I don’t think we’ll ever forget our first STD.
If I were to get married tomorrow I think I would pick this same color palette. Lemon yellow, turquoise and grey are pretty much the best color combo. I’ve been using these colors all over my house for months, they are my go-to-guys. Check out my kitchen as proof. So I can easily imagine turquoise b-maid dresses paired with a bouquet of yellow flowers.
As a special treat, and since we couldn’t resist, we added boats and waves to the front of the envelopes as well. It’s basically the icing on the cake (no pun intended) and makes the whole thing look really special, or at least that’s what we thought after a few beers.
And just cause we love these things so dang much here’s one last photo for good measure.
